New things on the Horizon

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

So, I am sorry to all those keeping up with my posts… I know I have been slacking at updating the blog.   I have gotten so behind, but I do have great things on the horizon.

You will see some minor changes to the site over the next few weeks.  Nothing too crazy, but just little adjustments and improvements here and there.

I will also be involved in a great giveaway event in December.
I will post more on that when the time comes, but it will be big …I mean BIG! So, make sure to stay tuned because you are not going to want to miss it.

I also have a few weddings that I have not posted yet and those will come soon.  I promise!

Oh, and since I figure every post needs a photo… here is one of my kitty. :)
If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you know I got a new camera, so this photo is actually one of the last images I took with my trusty D200 (which has lovingly moved into the back-up position)

The new camera totally rocks and I can’t wait to share those images with you!

My babies (pups and my new lens) | Gadsden, AL photographer

Saturday, June 19th, 2010

So, today I waited patiently (or rather impatiently) for the arrival of the newest addition of my lens collection.
I rented this lens last week for 2 senior sessions (which will be posted soon!). I fell in love with it and ordered it immediately.
So, today when it came, I welcomed it with open arms.  (I am a nerd, I know!  haha!)

Tonight I got to try out my new baby by taking photos of my other 2 precious babies (the furry kind).
They were not having it though.  They just wanted to play, play, and play some more.

Here is my little Brandy acting all big and bad barking at the neighbors puppies.  Her coat was standing up and she meant business.
She is such a little diva.

Here she has found something to roll in.  I am hoping it is because of the fresh cut grass and not something of the stinky variety.

And here is my big girl, Molly, just happily playing with her toy.

I hope you like the new blog!

I will be leaving the old one up, but I will not be posting there any longer.

So, make sure to change your bookmarks to this new blog!!!!

And of course, no blog post is complete with out an image.

So, here are some adorable little kittens that I took at my mom’s house a few weeks ago.
I just couldn’t taking photos of these little guys and girls.
