I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing one of the ALSOCME (Alabama Social Media Association) events held at the Hill Center.
If you have not heard of ALSOCME, it is a great non-profit organization that teaches and empowers businesses, community members, and individuals to use social media to further their professional goals. You can find out more information on their website at alsocme.com.
So, one of my sweetest clients got a new puppy for her son, and she contacted me wanting to get some photos of them together before the puppy grew up. It was the perfect time to capture these two new little buddies together because her son had just lost his front tooth as well.
It was abnormally hot the day of this session, so we were quickly shooting and dipping in and out pockets of shade at Birmingham’s Railroad Park.
How stinkin’ adorable… I know! 
After we exhausted all of the shady spots at Railroad Park, we headed to a breezier, cooler area downtown
(out of the scorching sun).

I met this handsome little fella’s mommy and daddy a few months ago when I did her maternity session. They are the sweetest people and I could not wait until the day that their little bundle arrived. I was so excited when I saw the news of his delivery on Facebook!
At 11 days old, the little guy was the perfect little model for our newborn session. He was sound asleep when I arrived and ready to go. He never minded being put on his tummy or moved around, and the only time he woke was when it was time to eat! After his morning snack, his mommy and daddy snuggled and loved on him and until he fell back to sleep.
His nursery looked like it came straight out of a magazine. Daddy put so much hard work and so many long hours into making sure that it was perfect for their little boy!
…and, it was!!!
