I met this beautiful mommy-to-be at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens to capture the memories of her first pregnancy. She was just glowing and so anxious to meet her baby boy.
It was such a privilege to be able to provide these images for their family to cherish forever.
The Birmingham Botanical Garden’s made such a lovely backdrop for this pretty mommy-to-be and her sweet family. The nearby flowers occupied the children’s attention when we were just getting photos of Mommy’s belly or Mommy and Daddy together.
A maternity session is such a great way to capture you and your families experience as you wait for the arrival of the newest member of the family. I loved being able to preserve these memories for this family through my lens.
I just love this tender moment between daddy and his precious little girl.
I do believe they were so excited about the arrival of their baby sister!

I am also so excited to finally get to meet the sweet little bundle of joy this week when they bring her over to the studio for her newborn session.

So, here is the first photo session of the new year, and it is a good one! I got to start the new year off with a wonderful maternity portrait session!
In December, I met with this lovely client about our upcoming sessions, and she was just so wonderfully sweet, cheerful, and so very stylish. She wanted a maternity session that would capture their memories of this experience in a sexy and fun way! I absolutely could not wait for this session because I knew that it was going to turn out amazing!
We started out with some sassy boudoir styled images, and let me tell you… this hot mama-to-be knows how to work it! She was confident, fearless, and just plain gorgeous! I think she just just radiates beauty, and that pregnancy glow fits her so well!

Whew, and “daddy-to-be” was a hoot! He was making faces and cracking us up… as you can see by that huge smile on her face!
We couldn’t end the session with out getting some classic portraits…
of the ENTIRE family!
I am counting the days until their little bundle of joy arrives because if this little baby is anything like his parents…
He is going to be a blast to photograph!
