Brittany and James had contacted me last year about photographing their wedding. So, in that time I had the pleasure of also shooting their engagement photos and Brittany’s bridal portraits. I was looking forward to the beautiful ceremony that they had planned.
Brittany and James decided to have their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Big Spring Park in Huntsville, Alabama. The venue was gorgeous, and the backdrop of the ceremony was a large rock wall and a beautiful pond with fountain, which had gorgeous orchid floral arrangements floating in it. The pathways were lined with similar floral arrangements, candles, and the stairs were draped in a beautiful burgundy satin ribbon. It was obvious that Brittany had spent so much time carefully choosing each detail, and it was time well spent. :)
We started the day off at the hotel, where Brittany had her hair and makeup done.

Such a tender moment of her mother grabbing a sweet kiss as she finishes getting her dress laced up.

Brittany anxiously waiting for her groom to meet her at the top of the stairs for their “first look” before the ceremony.

This cutie-patootie below was just “patiently” waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Her dad, waiting for his beloved daughter to make her way down the stairs, looked so dashing and distinguished in his tuxedo.

The happy couple… so excited to share that first kiss and be MARRIED!!!

Her gorgeous cake adorned with sugar orchids matched the floral decorations perfectly.

As the sun went down, the atmosphere lent its self to dancing and enjoying the evening.

The couple was sent off on their honeymoon with a grand exit, complete with sparklers!
