Kelli + Wes // Rustic Engagement Session

Tuesday, May 31st, 2011

Kelli and Wes love the outdoors, so Tannehill State Park was the perfect setting for their engagement session!  The state park not only has the natural elements, but it also provides some rustic areas that photograph so beautifully.

These two are saying “I DO” next weekend, and I am so excited for their wedding.  It is going to beautiful, unique, amazing, and so very memorable… and Kelli is going to make a stunning bride!   I already had a glimpse at what she will look like on her wedding day, by doing her bridal portraits… and let me just tell you that Wes is going to just swoon over her when he first sees her.  It is so hard for me to not share some of her bridal portraits with all of you, but we have to save that surprise for the big day! :)

These two just crack each other up, and it was making me laugh, too.
I love it when emotion can be captured in a photograph.

Brittany’s Bridals

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

Brittany and James just tied the knot  a few weeks ago, and since he has now seen his beautiful bride in her wedding dress…. it is finally ok to post Brittany’s bridal portraits on the blog!

They were married in Huntsville, Alabama, but she came here to Birmingham to have her bridal portraits done in at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.  She had a specific look she was going after, and the gardens definitely fit her vision. We spent the afternoon tip-toeing through the beautiful natural setting in search of the perfect places to photograph Brittany and her beautiful dress.

Here are just a few of the images we captured that day!

I can’t wait to share their wedding photos with you!

The ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous!

Cute doesn’t even begin to describe her… :-)

So a while back, I did a newborn session in Nashville, TN for our close friend’s new arrival and blogged about it HERE.

Well, that cutie-patootie little girl is growing like a weed and I had the chance to take her 5 month old photos too! :)  I might just be a little biased because I am her godmother, but I seriously think she is the cutest thing I have ever seen.   I have a sneaky suspicion that once you see the photos, that you will agree with me!

Since I don’t think words can even describe the cuteness that I am about to bestow upon you….let’s just get onto the images, shall we?

We started off grabbing a few images of her in her Christening gown.
Doesn’t she look just like a real live doll?

Then we moved on to something more casual.  I totally think she rocked her new little summer outfit.

She loved playing with the tall blades of grass!

If you remember from her newborn session her parents are HUGE Auburn fans, so we had
to represent in this session too! :)

I managed to grab one quick photo with her gorgeous momma too!
