Hillary | Gadsden, AL Senior Photographer

Saturday, June 19th, 2010

I had the pleasure of kicking off the senior portrait season with 2 lovely girls this past week.

We started out and it was extremely hot and super sunny, but by the afternoon we had a heavy (but brief) rain.
We hopped from location to location and got some great images.

Here are some of the images of Hillary.  She was a great sport and full of ideas!

We ducked under here during the rain and continued the session.

My babies (pups and my new lens) | Gadsden, AL photographer

So, today I waited patiently (or rather impatiently) for the arrival of the newest addition of my lens collection.
I rented this lens last week for 2 senior sessions (which will be posted soon!). I fell in love with it and ordered it immediately.
So, today when it came, I welcomed it with open arms.  (I am a nerd, I know!  haha!)

Tonight I got to try out my new baby by taking photos of my other 2 precious babies (the furry kind).
They were not having it though.  They just wanted to play, play, and play some more.

Here is my little Brandy acting all big and bad barking at the neighbors puppies.  Her coat was standing up and she meant business.
She is such a little diva.

Here she has found something to roll in.  I am hoping it is because of the fresh cut grass and not something of the stinky variety.

And here is my big girl, Molly, just happily playing with her toy.

Fun Times | Gadsden, Alabama Photographer

I had the pleasure of hanging out with my dearest friend’s little girls (you have seen them featured on the blog before).
Talk about amazing kids, these two are such sweeties!
We went on a little trip to feed the ducks and geese, but much to our dismay… there was a no feeding sign. grrrr!!!
So, while we were riding around (looking for other ducks and animals) they helped me scout out new locations.
We found some great ones, and I am so excited to use them next week on a couple senior sessions.
I had such a great day spending time with these 2 precious little ones, and we got some cute images from our impromptu photo session!

This new grungy, urban location is AMAZING! I can not wait to shoot there again, and again. :)

This water location was very pretty too and the girls had such fun seeing the jet skis.
Of course, they said that they wished they had brought their bathing suits, so that they could just jump in. LOL!
